Very Disappoint as Business seller
Summary: zete-buy shared their disappointment as a business seller, but the post did not include specific details. tobiasd4 responded, but their comment also lacked content, leaving the discussion without any concrete information or resolutions.
I recently converted my private eBay account into a business account. Today, when I started listing products, I was first charged listing fees, and in addition to that, eBay will also charge commission separately on every product, which is around 12% or more per sale.
After listing my products, I realized that I cannot promote any of my listings. I am not being given any options for product promotion — neither Priority Promotion nor General Promotion is available to me. Furthermore, when I checked the discount section, I found that I cannot even create discounts unless I purchase an eBay Store subscription.
I do not understand why eBay is unnecessarily limiting or degrading business accounts. As sellers, we already pay listing fees and sales commissions on every product, yet we are still not being provided with the essential tools and features needed to grow our business. Every useful feature seems to require an additional paid subscription.
I was impressed by selling through a personal account, which motivated me to create a proper business account. I registered my business entity and completed all the formal requirements, but now I have discovered that almost everything on eBay for business sellers is paid, and many important options that should normally be available for business accounts are restricted.
This is disappointing because business accounts generate the highest amount of revenue and commission for eBay, yet business sellers are not being provided with the support and features they deserve.

Business sellers always pay listing and final fees.
