Hi, I am having to register for VAT due to me accidentally going over the rolling 12 month limit and eBay asking for my VAT number. I am in the process of doing this and have managed to work out what reports I need to look at for VAT reporting purposes. I am however struggling with one thing. I sometimes buy postage through eBay and I am struggling to find out if they are charging me VAT on this? Does anyone know if they do charge VAT and if so how to I check how much I am being charged? I know if I buy postage through the Post Office VAT is charged for some services but not others - I can identify this through my postage receipts but I can't seem to find a way to see this information for eBay purchased postage. Any help given would be much appreciated
