VAT on item from USA to UK
When buying from the USA to the UK is VAT already included in the price advertised or is it calculated after and paid on entry into the UK (like customs tax)?

Mentor6 months agoYou pay VAT on top of purchase price.
As seller won't know buyers country when listing, it can't be included.
If over £135 you also pay import fees.
If sent through GSP, ebay invoice you for fees.
If seller sends direct, UK carrier will want paying before delivery for import costs and admin fee.
