Vat on Books
Why is VAT involved in the selling of books. Books as a printed article are part of the Zero Rate Schedule and VAT is chargeable at Zero. As a retired VAT Inspector I know I am Right. It seems to me that once again Ebay have got it wrong!

Mentor2 weeks agoAre you confused about the BPF charge that shows VAT?
As a business ebay has to charge VAT.
Because ebay shows the breakdown, some think it is VAT on the sold item.
