using ADVANCED SEARCH
Summary: ardy2004 is experiencing an issue with the Advanced Search feature, where the search criteria are automatically defaulting to "within 25 km," limiting their results. They seek advice on preventing this setting from automatically being applied next time they perform a search.
Advanced Search. When I use this (a) I check that I am starting with a blank form - nothing ticked (b) I put in my main selector - a very general item description - and also words which will eliminate items from my selection . Until recently this gave a search of several thousand listings. ( I only look at the last few days !) But recently the search criteria is ticking by itself "within 25 km " which reduces the selection to just a 100 or so. Its easy enough to track down the form any change that tick to "world wide" but any hints on how I can stop the Advanced Search automatically ticking "within 25" next time ? Thanks

Mentor3 days agoJust scroll further down the screen, see where it says 25km click the arrow to the right and change. By default the system sets at 25km. I can only presume to encourange things like ebay local or collections of items etc.
