If I pay the US tax that makes the item more expensive so the vat and inport duty is a lot higher.

Mentor3 weeks agoIf you bought through GSP, ebay invoice you for postage,VAT and import fees.
If seller sends direct, UK courier will charge import before delivery.
Refusal to pay these fees invalidates ebay MBG.

Mentor3 weeks agoYou wouldn't pay US tax, you wouldn't be paying that unless you lived in the US. What you're seeing is likely the import VAT being added at checkout if your order is below £135. You pay this up front so you don't have to pay it this end.

The item is £300.00 pounds with postage and US tax.
