Updating orders as shipped with tracking numbers
I have sold an item and the buyer has paid. I was unable to de-select simple delivery for my listing. I stated the item will be sent at my cost via Royal Mail Special Delivery which I have done. But my listing won’t allow me update my listing as shipped and add a tracking number. It says item is not eligible. This is really frustrating as funds will not be released until the item shows as delivered. How do I get around this please?

Mentor1 month agoYou can’t. It only works with simple delivery, if however buyer opened a not received case you would be able to reply using Your tracking number and if that showed as delivered then you would win the case.

OP1 month agoThanks for this. It’s a higher price item I’ve sent and didn’t want to use the simple delivery. Seems there’s a payment delay penalty for not using the simple delivery process. Thanks again.

Mentor1 month agoYou don’t. Message the buyer with tracking details. Your funds will be released after 14 days.

OP1 month agoThanks for confirming. Seems there’s a bit of a payment delay to face if we don’t use the simple delivery. I just don’t think this is adequate for more valuable items. Thanks again.
