unhelpful seller
I recently bought an item that does not match the description in the listing. I've contacted the seller, and they have said I need to pay return postage. I cannot find way to ask ebay to step in. The chat option is useless. The seller has notified ebay that a label has been sent.

Mentor2 weeks agoThe seller is providing contradictory information. Either you pay return postage or they sent a label. It can't be both. You probably need to contact ebay CS directly about this.

Mentor2 weeks agoOn every listing aside from Classified ads is eBay's 30 day MBG, Money Back Guarantee , explaining the process to follow when receiving an item not as described.
You do not pay for return postage, and you do not need to message this seller any more as they are unhelpful.
If you are still within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery, proceed this way:
Go right of the item in your Purchase History and from More Actions select Return this item. Select the reason Item Not as Described >> Does Not Match Description or Photos. The seller needs to either refund you in 3 days, or issue a pre paid return label for the return of their item. Once the item is received, they have 48 hours to refund you.
If this doesn't happen, you need to escalate to eBay, eBay step in and force the refund.
Listen to no excuses or promises from the seller to close the case early, and do not forget to escalate.
