Unhappy with eBay - Seller behaves irrationally - eBay no help at all.
Summary: crhodes64 expressed frustration with a seller who repeatedly failed to communicate pick-up details after agreeing on a cash on collection purchase. Have committed to buy an item with cash on collection, the seller had not responded to my requests for collection pick up details for about one week, so I placed a request to cancel the order with reason - Could not collect. As soon as I did that, the seller suddenly communicates and tells me I can pick up any time - gives me a post code but nothing else. I suggest collection day and time as tomorrow 10.30AM (this was 2 days ago) - Again nothing. Zero communication. What should I do? I cannot find any way to speak to anyone at eBay, none of the options for resolving this problem appear to cover a seller who is simply behaving irrationally. Help? What should I do? The seller is communicating - sort of, but very poorly. Been a member on here since 2006 with 100% flawless feedback - never experienced anything like this before. Considering killing my eBay account because eBAY are so impossible to speak too.

Mentor1 month agoeBay don't allow cash on collection as a payment method except for in the Motors category.
What kind of item is it?
Contact details can't be exchanged until payment is made.

Mentor1 month agoIf you get no joy from the seller you can use the money back guarantee to make a claim for item not received.

Mentor1 month agoI missed that bit because it's actually against the rules as it counts as an off ebay deal that can get both accounts in trouble.
You can't exchange contact details before paying.
