Can anyone help please. Ebay are totally unhelpful.
Case 1. Bought an item and the changed mind before delivery. Seller agreed to take it back for a refund. When it was delivered we asked for item to be returned to seller and courier took it back. We had requested a return though ebay royal mail and they sent a bar code but didnt use this. Seller got the item back and I said he could keep return post cost and refund the balance. ebay have said you cant have a refund as you didnt use the royal mail return. so buyer cancelled order, seller agreed and buyer sent the item back which seller received and ebay said no refund due because we didnt use royal mail which strikes me a ridiculous and unacceptable.
Case 2. Item was bought on live and bundled. item arrived broken and asked for refund. seller agreed. but couldnt identify the single damaged item . ebay for some reason found in favour of the seller because i could give them an item number. again ebay hide behind the processes and refuse to look at the details and emails in the system. totally totally unhelpful attitude by ebay. HELP PLEASE

By doing that I'm afraid that you invalidated eBay's money back guarantee. You should have should have accepted the delivery and then requested a cancellation or return. This is all covered in eBay's guidance on using their money back guarantee.
Case 2: "Item was bought on live and bundled".
I'm sorry but I don't know anything about eBay live sales or how you get a refund for items bought. Maybe someone else here is familiar with them. Otherwise you may need to read through the terms and conditions to find the answer to your question.

Mentor4 months agoSorry but there are procedures which have to be followed to get refunds.
Ebay gives a 30 day money back guarantee, but it does require proper return cases to be opened snd all procedures to be followed.
