Underpaid for an ebay item sold
On 18th December I sold a motorcycle headlight for £34.35 and after fees and postage the figure shown I should have received was £30.27. However the amount I received was £8.90. I have tried umpteen times to get some response but the AI has no 'I' and I need to get this sorted out. I regularly sell on ebay and can see no reason whatever for the discrepancy. I have tried to leave a message or email someone but failed dismally after more than three hours trying. Can anyone help me please?

Mentor6 months agoThis link will get you a call back so you can discuss with ebay. As fellow buyers and sellers we don't have access to your account, so can't see what has happened.

Mentor6 months agoYou are a business, so pay to list items and sold fees.
You also have to pay for postage.
As said, check transactions.

OP6 months agoI have checked everything and taken into account all postage and other costs. All my other sales have been spot on but there is something clearly wrong when a headlamp shell sells for £34.35 and only £9.80 is received.

Mentor6 months agoCheck out the breakdown of your transaction in the link below. It will show any postage charges, ad fees (promoting ads) and listing upgrades.

OP6 months agoI have checked and it shows that £30.87 should be paid but they have paid £9.80. It is definitely an error on ebays side.

OP6 months agoWhat I really need to know is how can I put my case to ebay for them to investigate my problem? I have tried every way I can but always get replied to by AI with replies that are totally irrevelant? I don't want to go to a lawyer but that seems the only solution.

Mentor6 months agoIn your Payments all transactions, it is like a bank statement, shows all transactions, and therefore the balance is the difference between money in and money out.

OP6 months agoI have been doing this for years and know exactly how it works and this is the only issue I have ever had with ebay over the years regarding payments. All I want to know is a phone number or email address I can use to put my case forward where AI auto responce is not involved. Please can someone help me?

Mentor6 months agoWhy do you not look in PAYMENTS, all transactions are shown there which will explain where the different went.
