Undelivered item and case closed by seller without delivery. Now I am stuck, please help!
Summary: bristolhillbilly expressed frustration over an item purchased that was delivered to the wrong address. Despite opening a case against the seller, the case was closed without resolution, and the seller repeatedly stalled by saying to wait for updates that never came. Unable to reach eBay for further assistance, bristolhillbilly feels stuck without a refund or the item, leading to a loss of trust in using eBay.
Over two months ago I purchased an item which was delivered to the wrong address and I never received the item. Therefore I opened a case against the seller but they have managed to close the case without delivering the item.
I have chased them countless times and every time they say "please wait 3 days whilst we get an update from our courier ". Its been 2 months and I am fed up with contacting them every 3 days with an update and they are refusing to pay a refund. Presumably they are stalling for time to prevent being eligible for a refund.
Now I am unable to contact Ebay because they have closed the case and I am stuck without my item and a seller refusing to do anything.
Frankly this has put me of Ebay for life!

Mentor2 weeks agoebay only allow 30 days for claims and they will go by the postal tracking showing as delivered. Contact your payment provider and ask them about a refund or chargeback.
