Unable to mark item as dispatched & add Tracking number
Summary: goldkaz123 is having trouble marking two of three items as dispatched on eBay and is concerned about refunding excess postage without incurring costs. **peaseblossom** advises that eBay handles postage refunds automatically for unused labels and mentions that while the seller can't mark the extra items as dispatched, payment for them will be released after 14 days.
A buyer has purchased 3 items from me at the same time. I have despatched the items in 1 package but am unable to mark the other 2 items as despatched and add the tracking number.
The buyer has also paid 3 lots of postage but as I am a private seller can’t see how I can refund part of the postage costs without the cost being deducted from my sales as I have to use the EBay simple label scheme. I have searched on EBay and it says that if labels are unused the seller will be refunded in 30 days. I really dislike these changes to the mailing system which worked fine for me before. Does anyone have any advice how to get around this?

Mentor3 weeks agoWith SD buyers pay ebay for postage (unless you have free postage on the listing) and they automatically get refund for unused labels.
You cannot mark dispatched or add tracking for the extra items so payment may be held for 14 days but you will get it.
