unable to generate prepaid labels/unable to deliver bought item due to postal issues
Summary: antuk-5056 is experiencing difficulties with generating a prepaid shipping label on eBay due to address issues, despite updating the information. **peaseblossom** suggested canceling the transaction with the buyer's agreement and relisting the item to correct the information needed for shipping.
My item has been bought (singing karoke machine) on the 2nd of July and i have been advised the buyer has purchased the prepaid label.
I am not very experienced on ebay selling and struggling on procedures for delivery to the buyer which is now overdue. I have clicked repeatedly on 'get prepaid label' but keep getting same message - unable to generate label due to incorrect zip/post code which I have since amended but keep getting same message. on the other hand it also says the courier will come with label.Can anyone advice on how to proceed?

OPJul 8, 2026 at 8:32 PMThanks for your help. I think problem is resolved. I think it had to do with the way my epost code was formatted on my account details. I amended and saved and seems to have worked generating both tracking and the prepaid labels. Thanks again.

Mentor1 month agoIf anything fundamental has to be changed, such as an address, you would have to cancel/refund the current transaction with the buyer's agreement (via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your orders list), and relist after the changes have been made, for the buyer to buy and pay again.
