Unable to bid on UK items?

Someone is trying yo bid for an item I have for sale but keeps getting a message saying I don't post to the UK. But I am in the UK ! How to amend this? I'e asked the eBay Chatbot but the reply is incompehensible to me. If someone can explain in words of one syllable I'd be grateful.

Thank you for your post.

A ticket is open with our tech team for this and its currently being worked on to resolve. While the ticket remains open some users have confirmed they are no longer getting the error message when trying to bid. Buyers can refresh the page to try the bid again.

Where does potential buyer live in UK? Do you use Courier rather than Royal Mail, if so they do not have a standard price for everywhere in the UK so price could be more than you quote.
