Unable to add items to WATCHLIST

Question

For several months now I have been Unable to add items to my WATCHLIST even though I am logged in.

Anyone else have this problem? I am using Mozilla and Chrome and have no luck on either browser.

I click on ADD TO WATCHLIST ... and nothing happens and it is not added to my WATCHLIST.

You are currently logged into the UK site, you need to log out of here completely, clear cache and cookies, log into your homesite, www.ebay.com then try again from there. @yabzab

So I logged into ebay.com and tried to save the item to my Watchlist there ... and that failed too. So what else can you suggest please as clearly the proposed earlier solution does not work.

OK I registered that ID when I lived in the UK and registered it under eBay.co.uk. Strangely it worked fine until a couple of months ago. Why did eBay change this to be location sensitive? If I visit Australia do I have to log in to Australia eBay now too? Seems a very silly change.
