UK bladed item cutlery verification issue

Hope someone can help. When trying to buy cutlery sets, the uk site needs verification for bladed items. But when I fill out the card information, it refuses to accept my card expiration date and doesn’t say what format it wants it ie 0X/XXXX or XX/XX and nothing seems to work! And after trying a few times it says technical error. Am I missing something? Thanks.

Are you adding credit card?

This is only proof ebay accepts.

Yes I’m using a credit card. But the expiration is constantly saying “must be a date in the future” which obviously is already what im doing with a card expiring in 2031. No idea how to fix it!
