Two people buying my item due to incompetence from ebay not marking it as sold
I have today sold an item and have printed the label only to find someone else has bought it due to the incompetence of eBay not marking it off as sold on my listing. This has happened before on at least three recent transactions. Unfortunately I didn't check up on whether they had taken it off as I had an urgent appointment. I will be contacting the second buyer to get in touch with eBay and get a refund as I can't be bothered.

I would say you have made same error on this listing and others
You say you have a pair and put you have 2 of them, that means, you have 2 pairs.
If you have 1 pair, that it what you list as 1.
You need to go through your listings and correct them or expect unhappy buyers.

It shows you had 2 , I.e. 2 lots of 2 items.
I am guessing you only had 1 lot of 2.
If so the error was yours.
You will have to cancel 1 of buyers, if they paid refund is automatic.

Mentor10 months agoIt is difficult to understand how this has happened. I must say I havent seen it before on all the years I've been on ebay.
Were these transactions done "offsite" because that's the only way I can think of how this could happen. Once an item has been sold there is no mechanism for it to be sold a second time.
Could you post the item number of one of them where it has happened?
