Two items posted with one label
Hi,
I put two items in the same parcel to a buyer (using just the one label) but now I’ve only been paid for one item because the eBay system has logged only one item being received. I don’t know what to do to show that the customer has received both items.
My mistake doesn’t seem to fit any of the categories for help.
Can anyone suggest what I should do? There doesn’t seem to be any way to contact anyone at eBay.

Mentor5 months agoThere's no need to contact Customer Services as there's nothing you can do.
That item is now not tracked, so your money is safe, but will be held for a minimum of 14 days.
Best way forward if it happens again, it's a bit of a faff, would be to cancel the orders with the buyer's permission, so citing ' Buyer Requests to Cancel' . This fully refunds the buyer, and your seller performance is not affected.
Then, to relist the items together under one listing, for the buyer to buy and pay again. You will then have one label to cover all items.

What does that mean in practice? That I'll get the money in 14 days?
Will eBay know that the item has been delivered, just not tracked?
Is there anything I can do now to resolve the situation?

Mentor5 months agoOne item will not have tracking so there's no proof of delivery. Should have better explained you will not receive payment for that non tracked item but its not lost, it will just be held for a minimum of 14 days, as eBay think a buyer would in that time open a case for item not received, so money is held in case of a refund.
If the buyer is dishonest they could open a case for item not received and you would have to refund for that one item.
As above nothing you can do, two items have gone with one tracking, so one will have no proof of delivery.

Mentor5 months agoYes, it will be 14 days , longer if there are any other holds on your account, say if you are a new or returning seller.
