Turning off all AI options on the app

Hi, hive mind. I've tried to list some old bike bits this morning using the eBay mobile app and have been given no option but to "upload your photos and let AI take care of the rest". This is a thing I do not wish to do, not least because AI is not great at recognising crusty old bike parts and, far from being "helpful", it simply means I have to check through everything it's written for me, delete it where it's wrong, rewrite it myself, then finally list it. This is more work than my preferred option, which is to write it myself in the first place. Is it possible to opt out of every AI option on the app, and if it is, how do I achieve this? And if not, why not?

Mentor5 days agoSadly you cannot opt out of eBays poor AI. However when you set listings up on the desktop or app you should be able to overide the system with ease. At the bottom of the screen on the app as I am just replicating the issues there is a tab at the bottom which says continue without match. On the next screen you can populate the item how you want and under the list fast er with AI there should be a cross in the corner to shut it up and allow you to provide your own description.
