Trying to bid on the item will not let me bid just keeps on coming up with Your bid has been blocked. Please resolve by clicking on the Continue button below.

But there is no continue button at the bottom

ebay messages are not always accurate. Sellers are able to put a general block on buyers with any prevoius non-payments, if that applies to you. Or if it's someone you've dealt with before they might have put your ID on their blocked bidder list. Some people do that for the slightest of reasons. If neither is relevant you could contact the seller and ask them to put your ID on their exemption list. See if that helps.
