TRACKING NUMBERS
Summary: db13353 experienced difficulties selling two items, as they could only find the buyers' addresses by downloading postage labels, which they did not want to print. They manually wrote the addresses and obtained tracking numbers from the post office, which they communicated to the buyers. However, eBay flagged their account for unusual activity, stating that funds would be held until delivery confirmation because the original eBay-provided tracking numbers were not used. john1297576 explained that it isn't possible to update tracking numbers in eBay unless a buyer opens a case, and advised that a refund could be issued if the original labels weren't used. papso22 questioned why the provided labels weren't used, to which db13353 replied that their printer wasn't working. They mentioned having their post office receipts as evidence if needed.
I have sold two items. The only way I could find the address to send the sold items to was to go to download postage labels. I looked and looked but that was the only way. So I copied the addresses and noted a tracking number had been applied. I did not want to print the addresses out. I wrote the addresses my self and went to the post office. Who supplied me with two tracking numbers. I contacted the purchasers and I informed them of the correct tracking numbers that I obtained from the post office receipts 48 tracked. Both have responded and thanked me. I then received an email from ebay " We've detected unusual selling activity on your account. Funds from your sales will become available for payout 2 days after delivery confirmation of the item.
I could not find any way to amend the ebay tracking numbers which are incorrect. I have sent emails to ebay with the above information.
When can I expect my money ? Is there any I have done incorrectly.

OP2 weeks agolabels and tracking numbers from ebay were not requested ,required or used all I wanted was the addresses to send items to, which I could not find anywhere looked and looked no where to be found.

Mentor2 weeks ago · EditedIt is not possible to load new tracking, the only use they are is if buyer opens a not received case you can then enter your tracking.
If original labels are not used, if buyer paid for them an automatic refund is made, if you the seller paid for them, then you must cancel to get a refund.

OP2 weeks agoi am not aware I paid REF ; if you the seller paid for them, then you must cancel to get a refund. sounds like a living nightmare. All I wanted was the correct address to send the items to. Now you infer I have/am to pay double postage , no wonder ebay sales are down.
