Tracking help
The order was dispatched after placement. The provided tracking number indicates delivery occurred last year. Upon enquiry, the seller explained that postal services may reuse numbers, causing discrepancies. However, I found no such clarification on the official website, which stated delivery should occur by the day after tomorrow. Yet, the shipment has still not progressed to the 'in transit' stage. What should I do? Has it actually been dispatched?

Mentor5 months agoUnfortunately tracking numbers do get reused, which is ridiculous.
Once your delivery is overdue, according to Ebay's estimated delivery date given to you when you paid, you can open a case for item not received.
You may have to explain the tracking number issue to ebay on appeal, so have that evidence ready.

Then, you are far too late to claim any refund from the seller or eBay where you are covered up to 30 days from the item's last estimated date for delivery against loss or damage to an item on delivery.
You may still be in time to claim from your payment provider, most offer a 120 day buyer protection for non delivery of items.
