Total amount requested but can't send because of Simple Delivery
Hi,
I'm looking for some advice please. I have a buyer that has requested a total amount for a single item, but eBay will not let me send payment details as I'm using Simple Delivery. What do I do, as I don't want to lose the sale?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Mentor11 months agoWhy have they had to request a total amount? If buyer is in UK, your listing would have all details, but they do have to buy first.
If overseas, then they would need overseas postage to pay!

OP11 months agoThank you, that's what I can't understand. When they bid and won the item, it states what they have to pay, so I don't understand why they are asking? I currently have 3 different buyers all asking for a total amount.

Mentor11 months agoThen they don't need any payment details from you. They should have all the info they need in order to pay. However, there is a glitch to do with SD today so that may be stopping them paying in the usual way. We're hoping it will be OK later today or tomorrow but we haven't heard anything from ebay.

OP11 months agoMany thanks for your help. I will give it a few more days, and if they still haven't paid, I will just have to relist the items.

Mentor11 months agoIf they still haven't paid after 4 days have passed before relisting, cancel the orders citing Buyer Has Not Paid, this finalises the transaction and gives the buyer a deserved unpaid item strike. Otherwise, you could have some very late payers, and end up with two buyers and one item.
Although as there are big issues with SD today, it could well be this tech issue preventing them from paying today.
