Time to call it a day on ebay, with costs rising and ebay's Business fee's at a punitive level.
Today i realised that i am being charged an additional 6% fee due to my Sellers Standards being below standard (i had to cancel 8 orders earlier this year due to a stock error) Selling gold jewellery my costs are stupidly high for the products and ebay makes more money on a sale than i do (14.9% FVF) I was lucky to clear 10% margin at the end of a transaction...and today i realised i was being hit with an additional 6% fee and have been for months without realising, its pointless to continue.
Such a dumb move to squeeze your customers so far that it makes no financial sense to use your platform, after 12 years I've probably spent over £100k in fee's it's a seriously stupid business model.
