"This item has a policy violation" and "Simple Delivery"
I re-listed 3 items, and each of them was rejected with:
"This listing has a policy violation. It's hidden until you can fix it",
apparently because of trying to sell them outside of eBay.
1. These items have been listed / renewed since November 2020, and have never had this treatment before. There is nothing in the Title or Description, explicit or implicit, that suggests I am trying to sell outside - certainly no URL links; AI has found some combination of words that it has mis-interpreted.
2. The only reason I re-listed them was because the postage was wrong. It USED to be correct, before "Simple Delivery" came along. It seems that eBay automatically changed the postage - with my large posters (c. 90 x 60 cm) being automatically re-defined as "Large envelope", when in fact they should be (and used to be) "Medium parcel".
I submitted an Appeal on them on 27-Oct, and it's now 01-Nov.
Is there any way I can 'chase them up'? talk to a person with 'real-life' intelligence?
Any suggesions would be appreciated, please!
Thanks.

Mentor11 months agoContact Customer Services, but I strongly recommend only speaking to Dublin, and their ' live agents' appear usually at 9 a.m. on weekends and 10 a.m. on weekdays.
This is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/eua?id=5275&mkevt=1&mkpid
Lines open 8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays
9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.
Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.
As said, I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

OP11 months agoI managed to get through, and in fact managed to resolve the problem.
In my Description I quoted some text from the poster in question, including the website of the relevant Tourist Board - which was quite reasonably perceived as being a potential violation.
So thank you once again - I very much appreciate your advice!
