The Message Reply section is faulty

I have a return request. It's not an issue or rather it's not an issue until I try to reply to the Buyer on my desktop in Chrome whereupon the message reply section is auto-returning the text after only a few words resulting in a scroll bar appearing.
Anyone want to hazard a guess as to what is going on please?
