The items are real but I have been accused of them not being authentic
Summary: yvoser-10 expressed frustration about a buyer accusing them of selling non-authentic Chanel shoes, suspecting the return is an excuse for a change of mind. They purchased the shoes over a decade ago and are seeking advice on how to handle the situation. *vyolla* advised that under eBay's Buyer Protection/Money Back Guarantee, the buyer can return the item within 30 days, and if necessary, escalate the dispute. They suggested providing a return label to avoid a defect on the selling account and recommended using the Report Buyer feature if misuse is suspected.
A buyer has just reported that the chanel shoes that she has purchased are not authentic. They are the real thing. She is returning them;I think because she has changed her mind and this is an excuse. I bought them over 10 years ago. I find it really upsetting that someone has accused me of this and I dont seem to have any recourse. Can someone tell me the best way of handing this. The shoe will have a number inside..They may not be in the original chanel box ..as I have a few pairs of similar .

Mentor3 months agoBuyers have 30 days to return an item that they consider is not as described under eBay's Buyer Protection/Money Back Guarantee, and if your buyer has already opened or opens an eBay item not as described return, they'll be required to send it back to you for a full refund of their original payment, and you'll need to provide them with a pre-paid returns label (if you don't provide a label, the buyer can escalate the dispute and get one from eBay, who will re-charge you for it).
You will get a defect against your selling account if you don’t accept the return and the buyer escalates the dispute to ask eBay to step in, which they can do after 3 business days.
Once you get your item back, if you feel that your buyer has misused eBay’s Money Back Guarantee you can use the Report Buyer link next to the item in your My eBay. This won't affect the outcome of the return case though.
