The item is defective, but the seller refuses to issue a refund. What should I do?
This calculator is defective. I followed the instructions in the manual, but it cannot be turned on. I requested a refund, but the seller said that because the packaging was opened, a refund is not possible. However, without opening the package, how could I verify whether the item works properly?
Because my exam is urgent, I later bought the same model of calculator from another platform, and it powered on successfully. This further confirms that the calculator I purchased here is defective.

Mentor6 months agoIf it's still within 30 days of the delivery date you can start a return on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041
select "Item doesn't match description" and escalate it to eBay after 3 complete working days.
