The buyer lied to eBay and the seller to get a free return label.
The buyer claimed the product did not match the description, but the description was accurate; the screen was damaged and only sell for the parts or not working. Upon receiving the phone, the buyer replaced the screen and tested it and found it had a keypad lock. therefore requesting a return.
The buyer also provided photos as proof the screen was locked and initiated a return on eBay.
The product arrived at 11:20 AM on February 9th, and a new screen was installed at the same time, showing the phone as locked.
I didn't know what happened and agreed to the return. But when I received the phone and checked. I found the screen hadn't been replaced, and the buyer's photos showed the screen replaced and was locked. What happened?
I compared the photos and found the buyer provided fake pictures. That's not my phone. My phone has scratches on all the corners, while the phone in the fake picture has no scratches.
The packaging returned by the buyer was my original packaging, and it was unopened because I had put the phone in a bag, sealed it, and signed for it. After sending it with the box back to the buyer,
The buyer lied to eBay and the seller to get a free return label.
I would like to request a refund for the return label fee.

This is a member to member forum, not 'Ebay'.
However, as you are a business seller, trading using a private account, with a 'no returns' policy which denies your buyers their consumer rights, perhaps the buyer felt they had to claim 'item not as described' in order to get a return.
If you upgrade to a business account, and accept returns, you may find cases like this don't occur.
