Terrible company

Question

Bought from a shop. Didn't designate a safe space to leave package. Evri driver just left by door and its been stolen. Their customer service is shocking. They've basically said i have to take hit. As in no redeliver offered. I think this is wrong by uk law.

A business seller has a legal responsibility to get an item safely into the hands of its customer. The courier is effectively the agent of the seller and the seller is responsible for any failings by the courier. However, this is not how the ebay money back guarantee works so you need to take this up outside of ebay.

That shop is unknown to me so cannot comment on their Customer Service department, however, they are not accountable for a courier company leaving items in what they may feel is a ' safe place'.

I use Evri a lot , luckily we have a great delivery person and a lot of safe places , but I also get notification prior to delivery asking if I wish the item to be left with say a neighbour, this may help you in future to select that option?

Your issue here, lies with Evri and not Vivosuns.

Items get stolen all the time, sad sign of our times! Some people have had success claiming from their house insurance.
