Temporary account restriction – no callback received, need written support
Summary: azadabeauty is experiencing a temporary restriction on their newly opened eBay business seller account and has been unable to receive callback support for verification. They have confirmed that their business and banking details are correctly matched and suspect the restriction might be due to an account verification review. Participants suggested using desktop methods and specific links to reach eBay's customer service, such as starting a live chat by typing 'agent' repeatedly to get a callback or agent chat option. *vyolla* emphasized the difficulty in contacting eBay support but suggested persistence with the available options.
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to resolve a temporary restriction on my eBay business seller account. The message from eBay says I need to contact support so they can ask a few verification questions.
The problem is that Help & Contact only offers the “Ask us to call you” option. I requested a callback twice, but no call was received. I also cannot find a live chat or written support option.
Has anyone recently dealt with this situation? Is there a reliable way to contact eBay support in writing for an account restriction or verification review?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

OPAug 17, 2026 at 10:42 AMYes, it does. We checked the payment settings directly.
The payout bank account is registered under AZADA BEAUTY LTD, which matches the legal business name on the eBay business account. It is also shown as “Used for payouts.”
We also have a Mastercard under AZADA BEAUTY LTD set as the preferred method for selling costs.
There are no visible “pending,” “confirm now,” or “verification required” notices in the Payments section.
So the business name and payout setup appear to match correctly. Do you think the restriction is therefore more likely related to a separate account verification review?

MentorAug 17, 2026 at 11:40 AMOnly eBay can answer that one, and it is incredibly difficult trying to contact them. I’ve found that the best route to contact eBay Customer Services is via the link below where you can call them or request a call back if you’re using the app (if you’re using desktop you’ll need to go round the houses with AI and start a chat then keep typing ‘agent’ until you get the option to live chat with a CS rep or to have a call back):

MentorAug 17, 2026 at 9:40 AMYou only opened the account three days ago.
Have you set up your account correctly for managed payments with verified bank details to sell?
With your user name are you potentially looking to sell items that may need pre authorisation in the beauty/healthcare?

OPAug 17, 2026 at 9:44 AMThank you for your reply.
Yes, this is a newly opened business seller account. We connected our business payout account through WorldFirst, and the account details are in the company name.
We are planning to sell beauty and personal care products/devices. We are not intending to sell prescription, medical, or regulated healthcare products, and we do not make medical claims.
The restriction appeared shortly after registration, and eBay’s message says they only need to ask us a few questions to verify the account. The main issue is that Help & Contact only offers a callback option, and we requested a callback twice but received no call.
Do you know of any written support or alternative way to complete this verification?
