Suspicious of a scam
I have only used ebay once before (that occasion was successful)
I have received a reply which says it is from Spain and suggesting they would pay the cost if could post the item the from the UK. Alternatively they say they are in the UK in march and could collect it.
The item is very heavy so postage to spain would surely be questionable.
If I accept the offer, how do I get payment? Do I have to give them my bank details?
If so I would not do so.

Mentor6 months agoThe simple and easiest way would be to cancel the sale and relist when they are in the UK to collect.
They have to pay before collecting, cash on collection is not allowed. The buyer will be given a code which they must give to you, and which you have to enter on ebay, before you hand over, as this is the only way you will have proof of delivery.
