Suspect bidder/buyer
I keep receiving a bid on items listed, but dispite putting in the alledged buyers eBay name apparently it doesn’t exist!!
So is not enabling me to delete their bid.

Mentor1 year agoWhy the suspicion? Aside from not finding their username and a clear explanation was offered as to why that could be the case.
You are selling collectable badges and pins, so in my humble opinion , it's not suspicious at all , for one buyer to place bids on several of your items.
Once the auction ends, see if they pay. One tip, I always found with auction items, buyers may not pay immediately, as perhaps they are not sat watching the auction, so don't cancel orders after a non payment too quickly.
Buyers have 4 days to pay , and eBay do send reminders to pay after 48 hours.
You have it seems, a good buyer, a rare thing these days, so certainly don't be blocking them too soon, for no valid reason ! 🤗

Mentor1 year agoSome international buyers use forwarding agents.
If you have the address, Google it.
You are only responsible for getting item to UK, not any issues once sent on.

OP1 year agoI understand this method now, it’s just I am over cautious having been deceived in the past.

Mentor1 year agoAs @tressygirl says.
Your items are not scam magnets.
You could cancel the bids or wait to see if they win & pay.
