Struggling to contact seller or eBay over refund with 12 month warranty faulty phone
Struggling to contact seller or eBay over refund with 12 month warranty faulty phone .
Bought mobile from Tesco outlet in July ,it is faulty as the mic doesn't work properly you can't hear what is said...I forgot it had 12 month warranty but I'm now trying contact seller but keeps saying message not sent. Tried contacting eBay but automated help keeps saying I need to choose item before they put me through and it's past eBay's 90 day return window so I can't choose ...help please!! 🥺

·7 months agoAs advised, you are too late to get any help from Ebay.
If you look at the seller's details in 'About', they have an email, a phone number and a UK address.
If you can't message them through Ebay, use that email and/or ring them.
Personally, I would send a signed for letter, outlining the issue and stating what you expect them to do.

Mentor7 months agoYou cannot report this to eBay as they do not offer warranties or guarantees on items, just that they are just as described on receipt. If they are not, a buyer has 30 days under eBay's 30 day MBG, Money Back Guarantee policy, to return the item for a full refund.

If you bought this from a Private seller you are too late to claim a refund. A purchase in July seems you'll be out of time to claim from your payment provider, too.

If purchased from a registered UK business, who offered a guarantee and is now not upholding this, then turn to Citizens Advice for your next steps, if you wish to take this further.
