Strange Ebay Buyer Scenario
Summary: i_sell_thingz shared a puzzling situation involving an unusual buyer on eBay. *vyolla* responded, possibly exploring the details or offering advice. I sold an item this morning it must have taken only a few minutes to sell, straight after i received a message asking me to cancel the order, so i promptly did and relisted the item.
no more than a few moments later i receive another message asking me why i've cancelled there order, from a completely different name than the previous message asking me to cancel it.
I said you asked me to cancel the order, as when i click through either message it takes me to the same order but under the new name of the second message.
he then says to ignore that as he has a scammer on his account, and i need to relist this item or he will give me negative feedback.
i told him it was already cancelled and he needs to speak to ebay if he has a scammer on his account. and this all seems suspicious to me.
he later became more aggressive telling me how much i've sold on ebay and calling me stupid, proceeding to say somebody on ebay makes sellers cancel his orders so they can buy them for themselves...
should i report this guy? so bizzare

OP2 months agoyes, i sold it once and the message was to ask to cancel it from (user1) i click the message at the top and it takes you to the order, but the order has a completely different user name attached to it.
i can't mention user names or add photos can i? the second buyer and resold one has nothing to do with the first order.
he's claiming somebody else is messaging sellers to cancel his orders and he has a scammer on his account.
