stolen property
My bike was stolen last week and has now appeared for sale on ebay. The only way to retrieve it seems to be to buy/make an offer (or get them to agree to a viewing and I can get police to come with me)
Has anyone had experience of this?

So, if your plan doesn't work and you can't get the police to accompany you to the address, you will have paid for your own bike.

Surely if you know it is your bike, Police should take action.

OP11 months agoI reported, have crime number, they have taken a statement so they know i've found it, they also know I found CCTV from a local business, also now got its geographical location...I mean I might as well go and arrest them myself!
All those stages different numbers/departments so its hard to speak to anyone, thought maybe buying it and getting refund might be simpler and avoid the inevitable confrontation tomorrow (arranged to see it)
