Mentor3 months agoPlease see the response from @john1297576 . As he perhaps implies you do not "ask" for a refund you open a "non receipt" case and escalate it if needed. You do not need to contact the seller or eBay; simply use the case.
Unless you use the eBay system you probably will not get a refund.

Mentor3 months ago“I have asked for a refund”. How did you ask, did you open a not received case? If so when was expected delivery date. If case opened have you escalated to ebay?
If buyers follow correct procedure it is virtually impossible to be scammed, and in any case it is most unlikely to be a deliberate scam.

·3 months agoWhat is the latest estimated delivery date for the item you bought?
The reliable place to find that is on the email that Ebay sent when you paid. It will show a short range of estimated delivery dates.
If you have opened a case through Ebay stating you have not received your item, you will be able to go back to the case and ask Ebay to step in.
However, it will depend on the latest estimated delivery date, and will reflect when the seller sent the item and where the item was coming from. Ebay will also factor in the fact that there were no deliveries on the Easter holiday Friday and Monday. They will allow the seller time to get the item to you.
You can check the status of your case here:

Mentor3 months agoWhen you open a case for item not received, it gives the seller 3 days to refund you or provide tracking to show delivery which would close the case in their favour. If they don't, you must escalate the case on day 4. eBay then step in and force the refund.
Cases are all timed to the second exactly 4 x 24 hour periods must pass.
Whatever you do do not close the case early, and do not forget to escalate.
