Still awaiting replacement for damaged item
Summary: natilyhall93 is seeking advice after experiencing issues with a purchase of an enamel cooking set that arrived with damages. Though a replacement was promised and some items were received, one was incorrect. Despite agreeing to return the wrong item, they are still waiting for the correct one and have faced poor communication and delays from the seller. They are concerned about being pushed beyond eBay's 30-day money-back guarantee and are considering contacting their bank for a refund or partial refund.
Please could I get some advised in there I stand with this?
I purchased an enamel cooking set which had two items that arrived damaged. I contacted the seller and they advised they were going to send out replacement items, which did arrive.
However, I received an incorrect item. I made the seller aware they had made an error and said they would send me the correct item, and they asked me to send them back the incorrect one. Which I agreed to (still packaged at my house), yet I’m still waiting on the replacement item and there has been no further communication.
This hasn’t been an easy process. With the seller taking their time replying and slow dispatch time.
Therefore, this has pushed me out of the eBay ‘30 day money back guarantee’ which means the AI communication system just keeps sending me round in circles. Do I now proceed with the bank to get my money back or partial refund as I don’t have a full purchase product?

Mentor3 weeks agoYou should of on day one opened an item arrived damaged case. The seller would have then HAD to provide a return label and refund you in full. Instead as you say they have timed you out of any protection from eBay. eBay have an excellent 30 day money back gaurantee offering so read it.
IF you goto your payment provider, I doubt they will issue a part refund. But talk to them for advice.
