Statement shows wrong total for purchases taken from balance
Private seller. Per my statement today eBay the balance is wrong. Shows purchases of £48.87 when I only bought 2 items - £23.99 + £7.00 paid from my balance. Spent the last hour online with no joy (all bots I guess). How can I get my balance credited? Have learned my lesson in future will not pay with my balance.

OP1 month agoThank you! When I looked before I missed that August purchase, no idea why but the statement now makes sense now.

Mentor1 month agoWe have no access to your account so can't see the issues, but goto your purchase history see the 2 items and work out from there, also to add were all the funds cleared in your eBay wallet? could that be the discrepency?
You are right though to never pay with your balance, as there is no additional protection offered by eBay that you get with payment providers.

·1 month agoLooking at your feedback left for purchases, you've got one in August that came to £24.88 including the buyer protection fee and postage. So if you had another that was £something.99 and any others being round pounds then that would give the correct pennies figure. What does your purchase history page list for August?

Mentor1 month ago · EditedYour transaction summary should show exactly how the balance is calculated, i.e all the ins and outs. As you are also a seller there may be selling costs as well as buyer purchases to be deducted.
