Spending balance?
Why was my refund from a seller divided between my bank account and an Ebay 'spending balance' ? I never asked for this and expected the full amount to be refunded to my bank account but the larger part was paid into a 'spending balance'. I can't even find this balance in my Ebay account so I must be missing something.

Mentor10 months agoRefunds must go back to their funding source.
If a payment is made up of a split payment from your eBay balance and your bank/debit card then the refund will be split between the amount taken from your eBay balance and your bank/debit card.
You can view your eBay balance here, and transfer it to your bank account if you wish:
