Special Delivery Parcel Stuck At A Depot

Question

Hi. I've sent a package via RM recently and it's stuck at a depot for 6 days. The buyer hasn't opened a case yet, but if he/she chooses to open an INR case, where do I stand? Thanks!

Not if you used your own postage of Royal Mail Special Delivery, eBay only covers items sent with eBay Simple Delivery.

I was told by CS because it's special delivery, eBay was to refund the buyer. I wasn't sure then. So, I came here to ask. So, I'm not covered by this?

Without delivery being shown you would have to refund if the buyer opens a non receipt case

If the item was later delivered you would have to arrange repayment with the buyer outside of eBay using Paypal, bank transfer or similar
