How can I chat to a real person i have not been given a refund I have explained my situation I lost a lot of money the item faulty

You don't need to speak to anyone at eBay but if in time, just follow the process below:

If you are still within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery, proceed this way:

Go right of the item in your Purchase History and from More Actions select Return this item. Select the reason Item Not as Described >> Does Not Match Description or Photos. The seller needs to either refund you in 3 days, or issue a pre paid return label for the return of their item. Once the item is received, they have 48 hours to refund you.

If this doesn't happen, you need to escalate to eBay, eBay step in and force the refund.

Listen to no excuses or promises from the seller to close the case early, and do not forget to escalate.

Once eBay notify you the refund is made, being processed, then it's not instantly returned to you, and does go back to original payment source.

If you paid with PayPal it goes back to your PayPal account fairly swiftly.

Paying with a debit / bank card? Can take up to 12 days to appear back in your bank account.

Credit card payment? This takes the longest, up to 30 days to appear back in the card account used.

To get a refund did you follow the eBay money back guarantee? IF the item was less than 30 days old from receipt, you should receive it.

You need to explain what you have done and what has happened a little clearer.
