Somehow double listed an item I'm selling - need to cancel one of them
I listed an item originally, the buyer did not complete the sale (didn't pay, went quiet) so I cancelled the sale. Relisted the item using a link within eBay but somehow this was duplicated and I didn't realise until a buyer bought *both* of the items. I have contacted the buyer and apologised, explained there's only one of the item and happy to send that, but when I tried to cancel the one item it appears that eBay has grouped them together and I can't cancel one on it's own, I would have to cancel both. Any idea what I should do? Is it that the only the buyer can cancel one of the things and then just proceed with the purchase of the actual one? I'm a bit stuck and the shipping date is now two days overdue. Thanks

Mentor11 months agoThings are certainly more complicated these days. You will probably have to cancel both with buyer's agreement (via the dropdown menu arrow for the items on your orders list) and relist for them to buy again. There's nothing the buyer to can do to get rid of the extra one.
