Hi everyone,
I recently bought a phone from an eBay seller for around £850. The listing stated that it was only two weeks old and unlocked.
However, when I received it, I discovered that it is blacklisted and only allows emergency calls.
The seller initially tried to persuade me to keep the phone, but I reported the issue to eBay. eBay reviewed the case and stepped in, instructing me to return the phone to the seller.
Since then, the seller has sent me threatening messages, saying that he knows where I live and that he will come around with his friends. This has made me feel very uncomfortable and concerned for my safety.
I'm worried that if I send the phone back, the seller may falsely claim that they never received it.

Obviously he is trying to put you off and is highly unlikely to do anything but you should still report him.
Report the messages to eBay via the three little dots at the top right of the actual message.

On next page select "The seller has violated one of eBay’s policies" and use "Seller sent threatening or abusive messages".
Also contact your local police station and report him there.
