Sold something seller started they recieved different item

I sold a ps5 game and payed it othe the seller has received it and have today sent me a message with a picture of another video game and said I sent the wrong item that video game isn’t even mine what do I do

At this moment in time I would

1) check your tracking to show its delivered - it maybe in transit and theyve confused you with another seller

2) Reply back and ask perhaps they were confusing you with another seller as you never had that game to sell so confused how they have received that game. Maybe ask if they have ordered any other games at the same time? - Your return address should be on the package.

3) If they are adiment then you have to ask them to open a return and send the item back. I know this isnt your item but once its back you can then take this up with Ebay .

Ive had something similar when a lady was returning 2 items and sent us both the wrong item , I called ebay and they refunded her for both and not out of our pockets, the system is pretty automated so you have to pick up the phone to ebay once you get the item back.
