Sold item but no longer have
I sold shoes elsewhere and forgot to take down eBay listing. Just notified that they were sold but I no longer have them! I’ve messaged the buyer, will eBay refund her? The payment hasn’t come to me because I didn’t add my account details to eBay. I’m too old for all this 🙄

Mentor7 months agoHopefully, the buyer will be understanding, and you can cancel the order citing ' Buyer Requests to Cancel'. Click on the item, top left to View Order details then from More Actions on the right >> Cancel Order.
This will automatically refund the buyer, and your seller performance is not affected.
If there is no money available in your Payment Summary eBay use your back up source, this is usually your bank account.
If you haven't added your back up preferences, bank account / credit card do so here , in the link below.
Once the refund is processed, money from the sale is released to you.

Can you see the payment here:

OP7 months agoWhat an aggressive reply! Maybe I forgot? Maybe I’m old and new to this kind of thing, maybe I have learning disabilities. Maybe all of the above! Either way, your question response to my request for help was unneeded.
