sold item and buyer collected but sale was set to shipment only - how can they confirm receipt?

I logged an item for sale with shipment only, the buyer paid but came and collected. I created the prepaid label for shipment as I thought it would allow the buyer to mark as received but they don't have any option coming up. Can anyone advise if I can change the order to collection or if the buyer should have something they can access to confirm receipt?

The buyer can't mark as received and you can't prove they have the item if they open a claim for item not received. The good news is that you will be paid, eventually.
