Sold but missing funds
Hello, I sold my first item on the 12 Jul. The amount I sold it for appeared in my eBay balance and said it would be released to me on the 17 Jul.
Having gone on to check the status, my eBay account now reads £0 yet I have not received the money in my bank account.
Any help or thoughts welcome!

Mentor2 weeks agoPayments for n ew sellers is usual, as you can appreciate checks have to be made that the seller is the genuine owner of the account.

Mentor2 weeks agoOnce money is released YOU have to withdraw to bank account. It is not automatic!

OP2 weeks agoI would love to do that, but my eBay balance is now reading £0! The cash just disappeared!

Mentor2 weeks agoPayments to new sellers can be held for 30 days but if it was in your balance it should only disappear again if it was used to pay selling fees (eg. for a reserve price), or to buy something.
