Slow Time ?
I have been a member on ebay for abouttwo decades and I have never had such a slow selling time.
I think my prices are no worse then others have 100% etc but this year its been so slow. Has anyone else had the same? Is it because of the Buyers premium dropping paypal , HMRC reporting what? I have dropped prices , no avail, upped them thinking folks may think is rubbish ...Nothing.
All I really want to know is it the cost of living, postal costs , used, Post office & simple delivery . So anyone whats happened it seems ebay once thriving is now in the doldrums?

Mentor11 months agoThe changes you mention have hit many private sellers. It's hard to find any statistical significance in sales of barely one item a week.
If you're just a hobby seller selling your own personal possessions - which is all you're allowed to do as a private seller - it's hardly a problem. If you have aspirations to sell as a business seller maybe you need to look for items that are more in demand.
As a business seller your buyers wouldn't be charged a buyer protection fee, and you would be free to use the delivery service of your choice.

OP11 months agoNo, I'm happy being a private seller. It just seems after being on here for 20 years I have never seen it so slow.
At first i thought it was just me but it seems others have had the same problem. Cost of living , postal prices, new system chsnges I dont know.
